Job Summary
The Shop Manager will oversee all aspects of our detailing facility operations, including staff management, scheduling, quality control, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of auto detailing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily shop operations and workflow
- Supervise, train, and evaluate detailing staff
- Create and maintain staff schedules to optimize productivity
- Implement and enforce quality control standards
- Manage inventory of detailing supplies and equipment
- Handle customer inquiries, bookings, and concerns
- Oversee vehicle check-in/check-out processes
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Prepare operational reports and track key performance metrics
- Collaborate with sales team to coordinate service delivery
- Accurately Report CarFax Registrations
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in auto detailing or automotive services
- 2+ years of supervisory or management experience
- Strong knowledge of detailing processes, products, and equipment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency in scheduling and inventory management systems
- Valid driver's license with clean record
Preferred Qualifications
- IDA certification or equivalent industry credentials
- Experience managing a high-volume detailing operation
- Background in luxury or exotic vehicle handling
- Knowledge of business operations and financial management
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $4,000-$10,000 based on experience
